The iPOS360x SX is a multi-axis motion system which has brushless, DC brush, and step motors. It can work with up to 4 A continuous and 10 A peak per drive. A CAN communication is installed between the axes. The system can also connect to RS-232 and Ethernet for an easier setup. The motor requires a 12-36 V logic power supply.

A main board for mounting the multi-axis motion system is one of the main components of the system. It allows the user to plug in to up to four iPOS3602 VX or iPOS3604 VX intelligent drives. The main board also supplies all the necessary connectors that each of these drives requires, such as a motor, encoder feedback, and I/O signal connectors.
